The LOL NDGC will be holding a dairy goat workshop in Stronghurst, IL on April 26th from 10:00 A.M to 2:00 P.M at H & H Feeds. NDGA Judge Ann Alecock and Purina Feeds will be guest speakers. 10:00-10:15- Introductions and welcome
10:15-10:45- Feeding, Nutrition and general care
10:45-11:15- disbudding, tattooing and shots
11:15-11:45- Milking
11:45-12:15- Must have products for health, show and kidding.
12:15-1:00- Lunch
1:00-2:00- Showing, showmanship, what to look for in a show animal and show prep- shaving and hoof trimming.
